Q: |
What if I sell my RV during the year? What is the benefit of purchasing the
contract now? |
|
|
|
A: |
There
are two main reasons:
1. If
you’re selling your RV privately, you can transfer the service contract to the new
owner. This is a great selling point.
2. If you sell the
RV, you can cancel the service contract and receive
a pro-rata refund.

Q: |
If my RV is in for repairs, do I have any coverage for additional expenses?
|
|
|
|
A: |
To lessen
the possible costs of having your RV in for repairs, the extended service contract
includes the following: reimbursement up to $50 per day for a rental vehicle, up to $300 for towing and roadside
service in the event of a breakdown on a covered
component, and up to $150 per day (maximum of 3 days) for the expenses of meals and lodging.

Q: |
Can I use the service
contract for routine maintenance? |
|
|
|
A: |
No. The service contract is for unexpected
breakdowns, not the day-to-day servicing of your RV. In order to keep the service
contract active, you must still have your vehicle serviced according to the manufacturer’s
requirements. Also, please keep two
copies of your service records - one in the RV, and another in a safe place outside
the RV. |

Q: |
What if I use the RV for Commercial purposes? Will the service contract cover me
then?
|
|
|
|
A: |
Yes, we offer a commercial RV service
contract to meet your specific needs.

|
Q: |
What are the benefits of this
particular service contract? |
|
|
|
A: |
The ability to buy multiple years
and/or mileage packages to suit your RV use. Other service contracts will
not include the year of vehicle, mileage, or the amount of use. They will
only cover your RV one year at a time. Our service contract gives you the
advantage of buying multiple years and mileage packages from the beginning of the
service contract. This protects you from rising labor rates and service contract
prices and prevents having to pay for a service contract year after
year. |

Q: |
What about tires? Most service contract
companies exclude them.
|
|
|
|
A: |
Tire and wheel coverage can be purchased with our ServiceGard, TrailerGard and XtremeGard
service contracts. We offer reimbursement for the cost of the tire and wheel repairs,
caused by potholes, debris, nails and blowouts; as well as damage from
glass and
metal in the road. There is no limit on occurrences and no deductible.
We also provide coverage for towing and the replacement cost of
the tire and/or wheel if replacement is necessary!
